Debate 2009

The Lahore School of Economics Association of Debaters (LSEAD) held the Lahore School inter-varsity debates 09 on January 23 to 27, 2009. 42 teams participated in this grand debating event.

In order to provide an unparalleled platform for debate, the Lahore School followed the all Asians format of debates which employed the 3 on 3 debating format with reply speeches. Each institution was allowed to register up to two teams. The Lahore School Debate consisted of 6 preliminary rounds (2 closed and one custom round titled the free speech round) followed by the knockout stages consisting of the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the grand final.
